Supervised Machine Learning (ML) has proven to be effective in identifying AD patients from cognitively normal people by using MR images, and other biomarkers.

In order to interpret the results of the AI prediction, one must be able to comprehend how a model generates predictions. This dramatically improves the transparency of AI.

It depends on the technical expertise what, when, and how an AI is deployed because not all AI algorithms are created equal. The robustness of AI is demonstrated across a variety of algorithms, demonstrating the interdependence between the chosen method and the influence of features on the prediction of the target variable. We conducted a thorough analysis to select the best algorithm for Alzheimer's disease prediction.

VRCT turns training into an immersive game loop, ensuring prolonged and recurrent therapy use. The training becomes enjoyable and personal, potentially improving IADL in patients. VRCT can provide repeated exposures to realistic CI simulations in a controlled environment. Patients learn to apply generalizable solutions and transfer these skills to solve real-life CI encounters. The proposed novel VRCT application becomes a cognitive rehabilitation tool for AD patients that is automated, cost-effective, individualized, and goal-driven.
